Our school motto, Esse Quam Videri, (to be rather than to seem to be) captures the essence of our identity. From Nursery right through to Sixth Form the Truro School Community shares the same values and approach to education which help to shape our identity. Underpinned by strong Christian principles, we are a caring and inclusive community.
As mentioned before the main independents are Truro High School for girls which is small but a lovely friendly school and Truro school which went co-ed in the 90's but is still mostly boys. I don't think you need to worry too much about the religous side of things, children believe what they want to and tbh and I don't think any of these schools have a heavy religous bias.
Truro High School is an independent girls’ school with around 300 pupils from the ages of 4-18, serving the local community in Truro, Cornwall, and well beyond. It takes pupils on a day, boarding or flexi-boarding basis, and runs a prep School, senior school and sixth form all on the same site.

With 293 pupils, Truro High School has a significantly higher than average number of pupils in the UK. The school has considerably more female than male students, with 100% girls and 0% boys. All schools are legally obliged to maintain attendance record for its pupils. Most pupils enter KS4 at aged 14 and complete the two year course by age 16.
